The Explorer Program encompasses every aspect of independent living all while having an enormous amount of fun!
The Sunlight Day Program is designed for individuals who require daily assistance with living skills. Our main focus is to provide a setting for these individuals to increase social skills and work on individual goals.
Onsite activities include Music Therapy, Pottery/Art Therapy, Cooking Class, Sign Language, Science Experiments and Adaptive Sports. Guest Speakers have included Freedom Service Dogs, a snake handler, a giant rabbit farmer and a magician.
We have a new classroom equipped with a Smart Board for education, interactive learning and role playing. Clients can also utilize our low sensory stimulation room that provides a tranquil environment for individuals to enjoy classical music or nature sounds, aroma therapy and ambient lighting. Wheelchair clients can enjoy time out of their chairs in this calm, relaxed setting.
Community based activities include Wildlife Experience, Butterfly Pavilion, Wings over the Rockies, the Alpaca farm, bowling and visits to our local parks, libraries and malls. Our
