Welcome to the New Day Family!
We are an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those who utilize Long Term Services and Supports. Our members come from all walks of life and are united in their desire to make a positive impact in the world. Whether you're interested in spending time at our big and bright facility or prefer exploring the community, there are many ways to get involved with New Day!
Day Program Services with us is a wonderful way to keep active, make friends, and connect with your community. To best understand what your time with us will look like, the following is an overview of our Day Program. Together with your Case Manager, Guardian and/or caregivers, and potentially others of your team, we work together to cultivate a day program experience to best fit your needs, goals, and interests.
Our day program is built for you to ensure quality of life and engagement with your surroundings. You have total control over your schedule each week and have a variety of choices on how to spend your time on-site. Your schedule may look the same, or different, depending on which activities you are interested in participating in.
You also have the ability to spend half, or split days at program; for example, if you have an appointment and need to leave for lunch but would like to return to participate in afternoon activities, that is permitted.
Your service plan contains your goals, or what we are working on every day you come to program. Sometimes those goals require some additional help from someone who knows how to help best, and you may choose to receive said help while at New Day. This could be Speech, Behavioral, or Physical Therapy, special guests or visitors, or other member of our community. We will work on your goal each time you attend program and apply those skills when we are in the community.
We invite you to check out our program site and meet administration and our personal care staff.
Our on-site services assist in encouraging self-sufficiency by providing instruction and re-establishing daily living skills, including but not limited to: activities of daily living (self-feeding, toileting, self-care), sensory stimulation, maintenance skills and self-expression.
Join us in making a difference in your community through volunteering. Our mission is to empower individuals to take action and create positive change. Discover opportunities to give back and connect with others who share your passion for service.
Our wheelchair accessible bus ensures great adventures for all!
